Booking & Payment

A valid credit card is required to secure all reservations. You may book online or call us directly at 619-750-0144. For phone bookings, a credit card is required to hold your spot.

Tour Confirmation & Arrival

• Tour location details will be provided via email upon booking—please confirm your location prior to arrival.
• Guests must arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour start time.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Some tours may require a minimum number of guests to run.

Cancellation & Refunds

To receive a refund, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the start time of your tour or experience.

To cancel:
Please email us at info@sdexplorer.com at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations are only confirmed once you receive an email response from our team.

Non-Refundable Situations:
You will be charged the full rate per person if:

• You are a no-show
• You cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice
• You fail to confirm your reservation at least 24 hours in advance
• You book a same-day tour and then cancel

Weather Policy

Safety first! If conditions are unsafe due to rain, high winds, extreme tides, or similar factors, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule.

In these cases, we offer:

• Full credit toward a future experience, OR
•  50% refund, based on guest preference.

General Guest Policies

Guests must follow all local and state safety guidelines, including COVID-19 protocols.
Face coverings may be required depending on group settings or current regulations—please bring a mask.

You are expected to act respectfully toward your guide, fellow guests, and the environment.

Liability Waiver & Equipment Use

By booking with SDExplorer.com, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of participating in outdoor activities, including but not limited to hiking, fishing, kayaking, and other active tours.

Fishing Equipment Disclaimer:
By registering for a pier or surf fishing tour, guests agree to the following:

I understand and accept the risks associated with fishing and the use of borrowed gear. I assume full responsibility for any injury or damage incurred during the activity. I release SDExplorer.com, its employees, and affiliates from liability for any injury, loss, or damage connected to my participation or the use of provided equipment.

A separate waiver may be emailed to you prior to your experience.
